Becker, Barry W.

Barry W. Becker’s father was a well-known land developer and real estate broker throughout the Los Angeles area. Howard Hughes told Barry’s father to purchase all the land they could in the West Charleston area of Las Vegas which initiated Becker Enterprises, Incorporated, in Southern Nevada and brought Barry and his family to the area in 1971.

Wolheim, Louis (1880-1931)

Actor Louis Wolheim was born on March 28, 1880 in New York, New York to Lena and Elias Wolheim, although earlier census records indicate he was born in Russia and arrived in the United States in 1888. Wolheim was best known for his role as Katcinsky in the 1930 All Quiet on the Western Front (1930). He also starred in Howard Hughes' films Two Arabian Knights (1927) and The Racket (1928).

Stallings, Charles P., 1893-1960

American film director and production manager Charles Potter Stallings was born on August 18, 1893 in Lansing, Michigan to Florence E. Higby and Joseph Stallings. Stallings produced over 28 films in Hollywood, California. He also worked for Howard Hughes' The Caddo Company, Inc., and worked on The Front Page (1931),The Age For Love (1931), Sky Devils (1932), and Scarface (1932).
