The George Laurence Ullom Photograph Collection (1915-1974) contains photographic prints and negatives created by Las Vegas, Nevada photographer George Laurence "Larry" Ullom. Larry owned and operated Ullom’s Desert Art Studio, which was located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The bulk of the collection consists of Ullom's wedding chapel photography. The collection also includes his photography work for the Bureau of Reclamation, the Agricultural Extension Service, and the Associated Press, Atlantic News, and Acme news bureaus.

The collection also includes information about the personal lives of those working on the including contracts about grazing cattle, selling cattle, and appropriation of water.
The Thomas Hickey Political Papers (1964-1996) contain the professional files of Hickey’s career as a Nevada State Assemblyman and Senator. Materials include constituent correspondence, voting records, memoranda, newspaper clippings, bills, and research documentation on topics such as the Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Repository, the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), education, health, prisons, finance, and Nevada infrastructure. The collection highlights Hickey’s role on committees including finance, transportation, government affairs, and ways and means.

This skating center opened during the prime skating rink roller age of the 70's/80's. The Crystal Palace does have a second location in North Las Vegas on Rancho built in 1981 which is ran by Larry & Judy Sandord though still under Tim Poole's company.
