Materials contain photographs related to RKO Pictures (Radio-Keith-Orpheum) and Howard Hughes's movies from 1928 to 1959. The photographs primarily depict Howard Hughes on the set of the film The Outlaw (1943), which he directed. The photographs also include portraits of RKO actors, including Frank Sinatra, Jane Russell, and Claudette Colbert. Hughes purchased RKO in 1948.
