The Kiel Family Photographs (approximately 1854-1989) contains glass plate negatives of members of the Kiel and George families, as well as neighbors from the Stewart and Wilson ranches and ranch workers. The majority of the photographs were taken at the Kiel Ranch site in North Las Vegas, Nevada. The collection consists of the original glass plate negatives, as well as photographic print and negative duplicates made using the originals.

Part of an interview with Ruby Duncan conducted by Claytee White, March 2, 2013. Duncan talks about the Welfare Rights "sit-in" at the Palms Room at the Stardust Hotel with Mary Wesley and a group of children. Ruby and Mary were arrested and promptly released.

Dedee (DaVeen) Nave was born November 09, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana to David and Virginia Maurer and has a sister, Marilyn Maurer MacCollum. Their mother was a convert to Judaism who instilled them with a solid Judeo-Christian foundation. When Nave became the bride of a mixed marriage, she raised her daughter, Alisa, in the Jewish faith.
