Oral history interview with Dr. Frank Roqueni conducted by Alia Rothstein on June 20, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Dr. Roqueni reflects upon his experience as a principal in Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD). He describes the process by which he became a principal, his regular responsibilities, and challenges that he faced. He discusses the high expectations that principals face, and suggests that individuals not enter the principalship because of those expectations. He also provides his opinion on issues such as standardized testing and school safety.

Oral history interview with Clarence Lawrence conducted by Rhonda Davis on April 11, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Lawrence reflects upon his career as a teacher and administrator in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He discusses his approach to school administration, and his working relationship with teachers and other administrators. He describes his regular responsibilities and challenges as principal, and discusses how different experiences shaped his approach to administration. Oral history interview with Howard Heckethorn conducted by Neil Dalmas on March 02, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. This interview offers an overview of early education in Nevada. Mr. Heckethorn also discusses Stewart Ranch, Howard Hughes and the Hughes Site, and the migration of the Mormons to the Las Vegas area.

Oral history interview with David Rohn conducted by David G. Schwartz on October 20, 2016 for the Slot Operations Oral History Project. Rohn discusses working in arcades and slots within properties such as Wildhorse Resort and Casino, and Midnight Rose Hotel and Casino. He then provides his philosophy on what he believes customers are looking for in casinos, and how slot operations have changed over time, particularly through ticket-in ticket-out and the use of free play.

Oral history interview with Clare Woodbury conducted by James Greene on January 28, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Woodbury discusses his personal history and medical background. He then describes social life in Las Vegas, Nevada, education, and his involvement with the Clark County School District. Later, Woodbury discusses some of the issues surrounding education at the time and suggest solutions.

Oral history interview with Stanley Paher conducted by Javier Romero on March 04, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Paher describes his personal history in Las Vegas, Nevada and the layout of the city when its population was only eight thousand people. Paher describes the development of bigger casinos in Las Vegas and the evolution of the Strip. Paher also discusses his career as a writer and publisher, writing about the ghost towns of Nevada.

Oral history interview with Patricia Lappin conducted by Nancy Bright on February 26, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. The interview covers Boulder City, Nevada around Hoover Dam. The two discuss the different gambling habits between Southern Nevada locals and Las Vegas tourists. During the latter half of the interview, the two speak at length about the impact of nuclear waste on Nevada. Lappin explains the unique issues that Southern Nevada faces as one of three states to accept nuclear waste.
