Brewington, Ann E., 1889-1993

Educator Ann Brewington was born July 22, 1889 in Clarence, Missouri, the eldest of three daughters born to Dr. George F. Brewington and Mrs. Rose Brewington (1866-1955). Her sister, Francis, was an registered nurse and a school nurse in Boulder City, Nevada for many years. Francis died in 1973. Brewington's other sister, Ida married Vail Pittman, later became governor of Nevada. Ida died in 1984. Ann taught business at the University of Chicago from 1923 until her retirement in 1954.

Walthall, Henry B. (Henry Brazeale), 1878-1936

Henry B. Walthall was a silent film actor active between the 1910s and 1930s, known for playing Colonel Ben Cameron in Birth of a Nation. Born on March 16, 1878 in Shelby County, Alabama, Walthall first performed on Broadway stages before transitioning into film, where he performed first in short films, then in theatrical films including the Marshall Neilan-directed and produced Everbody's Acting (1926), a film later acquired by Howard Hughes.
