Oral history interview with Joseph Kine conducted by Debbie Nesbit on March 02, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Oral history interview with Carol Bumgarner conducted by Kelly Fawcett on November 16, 2009 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Bumgarner reflects on her 30-year career as a teacher and administrator in the Clark County School District. She discusses how she was inspired to pursue administration, and the importance of maintaining those relationships with staff and fellow administrators. She describes her job duties as an administrator, and offers suggestions on how administrators can continue to foster meaningful relationships with their teachers and students.

Oral history interview with Oscar Goodman conducted by David Schwartz on January 05, 2009 for the Remembering Jay Sarno Oral History Project. In this interview, Goodman discusses initially meeting Jay Sarno and representing him as his lawyer. He remembers the allegations of organized crimes within Sarno’s properties, Las Vegas gaming at the time, and Sarno’s involvement with the development of Las Vegas. Lastly, Goodman talks about becoming Mayor of Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Helen Daseler conducted by Claytee D. White on October 09, 2007 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Daseler discusses mining work in Colorado, living in Europe, working for the United States government, and opening the Las Vegas Day School.

Oral history interview with Tom Hutton conducted by Beatriz Romero on November 25, 2002 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Hutton reflects upon his career in education in both Iowa and Nevada. He describes his upbringing, colleges that he attended for teaching programs, and how he first started teaching. He then discusses the process by which he became a school administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD) in the late 1980s, his approach to leadership, and his regular duties and responsibilities as principal. He also discusses retirement, and the factors that led to his decision to retire in the 2000s.

Oral history interview with T.J. Moran conducted by Georgina Pataki on March 20, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Moran discusses his career as a captain in the Las Vegas Fire Department and working part time as a construction worker building houses. Moran describes the changes that have occurred in Las Vegas, Nevada since moving there in 1954 and nuclear weapons tests. Moran also comments on an ongoing casino workers strike at the time of the interview.
