Oral history interview with Glenn Shaw conducted by Shirley Leavitt on February 05, 2004 for the History of the Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. Shaw discusses moving to Blue Diamond, Nevada in 1977, where he purchased an acre of land for $4,000. He also discusses his role in funding the construction of Avery Road in Blue Diamond Village in 1978. He highlights the changes in the Village between the 1980s and 2000s, namely the changes to the Blue Diamond mine, the library, and telephone lines.

Oral history interview with Sandra Peña conducted by Lada Mead and Stefani Evans on March 27, 2017 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. Peña recalls the family move to Porterville, California, and her work with Parson’s Dillingham, a contractor for the Metrolink rail system. She then discusses the link between the Los Angeles, California and Las Vegas, Nevada construction communities. Peña also discusses her ability to gain employment in Las Vegas at Parson’s and her move to Richardson Construction.

Oral history interview with Ethel Matteucci conducted by Tom Matteucci on March 10, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Ethel talks about being chased out of Mexico for being Mormon colonizers and later arriving to Nevada. Ethel later talks about the first casinos that were built in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Allan Kelly conducted by David Crawford III on March 28, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Kelly talks about living and growing up in early West Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1940s and 1950s. He specifically talks about his experiences growing up in a predominantly white neighborhood.

Oral history interview with Dr. Roberta Holton conducted by Wendy Park on November 20, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Holton reflects upon her 28-year career as a teacher and administrator with the Clark County School District. She discusses challenges that she faced in obtaining a teaching position, and some of her biggest challenges that she faced after being hired as a teacher and eventually principal. She also describes challenges that she faced in opening schools within the school district, and offers suggestions on how to be an effective principal and school administrator.

Oral history interview with Kathleen Harney conducted by Claytee White on July 19, 2010 for the Voices of the Historic John S. Park Neighborhood Oral History Project. In her interview Harney discusses her and her husband's move to the historic John S. Park Neighborhood in 1975, about ten years after moving to Las Vegas from Ohio. Kathleen also discusses her career as a high school teacher and teaching English and journalism.

Oral history interview with Edith Leavitt conducted by Enrico Mecina on February 07, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Leavitt talks about moving to Las Vegas, Nevada from St. George, Utah for a teaching position in August of 1945. She discusses the history of the school district and racial integration of the school system.
