Oral history interview with Lester Earnest conducted by David Schwartz on August 8, 2017 for the Competitive Video Gaming Oral History Project. In this interview, Earnest discusses the beginning of his career in computing, speaking at length about the military SAGE project the he believes was designed to fail. He then talks at length about his work with the Stanford University Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (SAIL) and the development of the computing environment through the 1960s and 1970s. He also talks about his development of the FINGER protocol and the role of artificial intelligence in the early development of video gaming, as well as various individuals who got their start with SAIL before developing modern computing and software systems.

Oral history interview with Charles Perri conducted by Edwin Smith on February 10, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Perri discusses moving to Nevada in 1948 from New York. Perri discusses his career selling shoes, working as a survey crew member on a race track, and later working for the Las Vegas Fire Department. Perri later discusses the earlier casinos on the Las Vegas Strip.

Oral history interview with Jackie Abell conducted by Robert Stuart on April 03, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Jackie Abell (b. 1924) discusses her experiences growing up in Virginia City, Reno, and Overton, Nevada. She specifically discusses her experiences growing up on a ranch, railroading, above ground atomic testing, flooding, and wild animals.

Oral history interview with Ray Ruff conducted by Scott Benjamin on March 13, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Ruff discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada from Chicago, Illinois in 1954. Ruff also discusses his employment and the environment at the Desert Inn Hotel. Ruff later discusses golf and Las Vegas politicians.

Oral history interview with Shirley Edmond conducted by Claytee D. White on June 24, 2010 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview Shirley Edmond talks about growing up in the Westside neighborhood of Las Vegas, Nevada as the daughter of a local preacher. She tells of the early community's shopping and neighborhood landmarks. Shirley also shares stories of her work at both the US Post Office and Matt Kelly Elementary School.

Oral history interview with Henry E. Wellman conducted by Rebecca Rounds on March 14, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Wellman discusses his personal history and the history of Boulder City, Nevada. Wellman describes the construction of Hoover Dam (Boulder Dam), being a laborer working on the dam, and life in Boulder City during the 1940s. He talks about the United States government selling housing and land after the completion of Hoover Dam and how Las Vegas, Nevada has changed and expanded. Wellman also discusses the legalization of alcohol in Boulder City.

Oral history interview with Marvin Vallone conducted by Eileen Jonas on March 02, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Vallone discusses arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada and his first occupations in gaming as a card dealer. Vallone also discusses the growth of gaming in Las Vegas, Nevada and the development of casinos throughout the city.
