Oral history interview with Peter La Porta conducted by William Davy Weller Sr. February 28, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In the interview, La Porta discusses his birth at St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson, Nevada and his office, the La Porta Insurance Agency in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also talks about his early memories of Henderson, gambling, celebrities in Las Vegas, and his religious preferences.

Oral history interview with Flora Hannig-Kellar conducted by Michael D. Taylor on March 27, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Hannig-Kellar discusses family life, social, and recreational activities. She also shares some of the poetry she wrote about Nevada and her family, specifically her children and grandchildren.

Oral history interview with Floyd Sweets Harrison conducted by Claytee D. White on September 16, 2016 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, Harrison discusses his upbringing in New York City, New York and his involvement in the King Charles Unicycle Troupe. He remembers joining the Ringling Bros. circus in 1968, touring around the country, and his experience as an African American entertainer during that time. Harrison talks about performing in Las Vegas, Nevada, the entertainment industry during the 1980s, and performing for community events. Later, Harrison recalls touring with Siegfried and Roy, and the King Charles Unicycle Troupe becoming an independent show in Las Vegas. Lastly, Harrison discusses the future of circus shows in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with John Mance conducted by Claytee D. White on February 27, 1998 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Mance discusses his introduction to the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), forming a local branch in California in 1955, and his continued involvement with the executive committee of the national organization since that date. He explains the heirarchy and make-up of the NAACP, from the national convention to the local branches and their rights and responsibilities. He continues talking about the officers, who are all volunteers, and the numbers of paid administrative staff. He explains his involvement in the various local branches and his forty-two years as a national board member.

Oral history interview with Doris Shoong Lee conducted by Sue Fawn Chung on January 03, 2004 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Shoong Lee discusses her father, Joe Shoong, who started the company National Dollar Store. She also discusses her involvement with many philanthropic projects, including some at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with her husband Theodore Lee.

Oral history interview with Joan Olson Griffith conducted by Sharee Schrader on April 12, 2005 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. Griffith begins by discussing why she moved to Blue Diamond, Nevada with her family due to job opportunities at the Blue Diamond Plant, where they manufactured wallboard, in 1956. She describes life in Blue Diamond and rural Nevada, the education available in the village, and Blue Diamond's proximity to Bonnie Springs Ranch and structures made for the filming of Western themed media. Griffith concludes by discussing how Blue Diamond has changed since the 1950s and being a Sunday school teacher for eighteen years.

Oral history interview with Nellie and Roy Summers conducted by Jean Kahr on March 06, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Roy Summers begins by describing Las Vegas, Nevada in 1947 and life in the Southern Nevada area. He gives a history of the Sears department stores in Las Vegas, and his career as an appliance repairman for Sears. The interview continues with Nellie Summers, describing her career in the food service industry within the local school system. She discusses how the schools would calculate a budget for the students' meals, her religious affiliations, and her family's recreational activities.
