Oral history interview with Janet Saxton conducted by Francine Gordon on November 10, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. She discusses the interactions between teachers and principals, and challenges that she faced in fostering relationships with teachers. Oral history interview with Joe Ariki conducted by Tony Gebbia on March 23, 2001 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Ariki reflects upon his 30-year career as an elementary school teacher and administrator in Denver, Colorado from the 1950s to the 1980s. He describes the process by which he became a teacher and eventually an administrator, and describes his regular job duties and challenges that he faced. He also discusses the introduction of computers into the classroom, and technology’s impact on education. He also offers suggestions for individuals interested in pursuing school administration, and describes what he believes are the qualities of a successful school leader.

Oral history interview with Kathy Foster conducted by Cheryle Trupp on October 05, 2004 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Foster reflects upon her 30-year career as a teacher and administrator with Montana’s Bozeman Public Schools (BPS) and Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD). She discusses the different positions that she has held, and describes the process by which she moved from BPS to CCSD. She reflects upon some of her biggest accomplishments and challenges, offers her opinion on student ethics, violence, and curriculum changes, and describes what she believes makes an effective administrator.

Oral history interview with John Wittwer conducted by Perry Kaufman on May 17, 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Kaufman discusses living in Santa Clara, Utah and describes families from Switzerland migrating there as converts to the Latter-Day Saints Church.

Oral history interview with Charlotte M. Kelly conducted by Terri Lynn Truesdell on April 4, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Kelly discusses local history that she experienced as well as her reasons for moving to Las Vegas, Nevada. She also talks about Las Vegas' population growth and Nellis Air Force Base.

Oral history interview with David L. Washington conducted by Claytee D. White on March 18, 2009 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Washington discusses his personal history, education, experiences in the military, and becoming a firefighter in Las Vegas, Nevada. Washington talks about his employment at the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue department, explains the procedures for certain fire emergencies, and what it was like when women joined the department in the 1960s. Finally, he recalls becoming the City of Las Vegas Fire Chief.
