Oral history interview with Judy and John L. Goolsby conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee D. White on September 08, 2016 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. John discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada with Summa Corporation in 1980 to manage the portfolio of Nevada properties owned by the Howard Hughes estate. He also describes developing the master-planned community of Summerlin, and his responsibility being president of Howard Hughes Corporation from 1988 to 1998. Judy discusses volunteering with and being president of Assistance League of Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with John M. Fleegle Jr. conducted by Kenneth Wilson on March 17, 1978 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Fleegle talks about arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1966. He recalls working in the gypsum mines in Blue Diamond, Nevada, moving into the service station business, and the types of occupations in Las Vegas before gaming. Lastly, Fleegle describes the economic development in the city as the population increased.

Oral history interview with Juanice Rankin Ebarb conducted by Angie DeLong and Nina Wolters on April 25, 2007 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. Ebarb begins her interview by reminding her interviewers that they had attended school together. She then talks about her family's move to Blue Diamond Village in 1944 after her father found work at the gypsum board plant. She then talks about her family, particularly her older brother Meredith and younger brother Wayne, and their home in the Village. In conversation with her interviewers, she recalls growing up in the Village, playing at the park and community pool, and attending school. She also comments on many of the Village residents. Lastly, she describes her marriage and her brothers' employment at the gypsum board plant.

She remembers living at the Circus Circus Hotel and Casino, Tanya the Elephant performances, and the Flying Cavarettas trapeze acts. Straus describes her father’s relationship with Steve Wynn and Oscar Goodman, and his vision for the future of Las Vegas hotel and casinos.

Oral history interview with Thomas Rodriguez conducted by Maribel Estrada Calderón on September 10, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. Rodriguez discusses how his grandparents migrated from Mexico to Topeka, Kansas. Rodriguez later discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada to work for the Las Vegas Clark County Consortium. He mentions the Latino Youth Leadership Program and his college experience. He goes on to discuss his involvement in the Chicano Movement and Hispanics in Politics and describes the lawsuit he filed against the Clark County School District for employment discrimination. Rodriguez then talks about the Rafael Rivera Community Center and describes the growth of Las Vegas.
