Oral history interviews with Gilbert C. Blaine conducted by Kenneth Fong on February 11, 1975 and March 10, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Blaine discusses the social and economic growth of Las Vegas, Nevada. He also discusses Boulder (Hoover) Dam, Boulder City, Nevada, Lake Mead, the Old Mormon Fort, and epidemics in Southern Nevada. Blaine also talks about organized crime and law enforcement in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Juliana Urtubey conducted by Nathalie Martinez and Barbara Tabach on May 24, 2021 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project.

Born in Colombia, Julia was able to immigrate with her family to the United States when she was six years old. The family lived in Chicago, Illinois and later in Phoenix, Arizona. Juliana moved to Las Vegas in 2013 and taught learners with special education needs at the elementary level. In 2021, she was named the National Teacher of the Year, the first Latina and the only Nevadan to ever hold the distinction. Juliana personally received the award from Dr. Jill Biden.

Oral history interview with Nanyu Tomiyasu conducted by Sosuke Miyazawa on March 11, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Tomiyasu discusses his family's history in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tomiyasu also discusses the growth of Las Vegas, improvements in transportation, and farm life. Tomiyasu then describes the significance of the Old Mormon Fort and the Union Pacific Depot.

Oral history interview with Leo Lewis conducted by Kenneth "K. J." Evans in 1999 for the Las Vegas Review-Journal First 100 Oral History Project. In the interview, Lewis discusses Las Vegas, Nevada's resort industry and assisting to develop the College of Hotel Administration (William F. Harrah College of Hospitality) at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Lewis also talks about teaching casino management at UNLV and UNLV's collaboration with international resort industries. A woman, possibly Lewis's wife, Lucy Lewis, is also present in the interview and elaborates on their travels during UNLV's international resort programs, including Tiananmen Square, China during the 1989 protest.

Oral history interview with Rick Peppers conducted by Claytee D. White on July 06, 2016 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In the interview, Peppers describes his childhood in Exira, Iowa and moving to Blue Diamond, Nevada in 1962. He explains working in various positions at the Blue Diamond Mine to ensure employment stability. Peppers shares stories about how the mine company's ownership of Blue Diamond affected the town. After transitioning into security jobs, he explains working through the Teamsters Union at the Aladdin Hotel and Casino, and then working forty-six years at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Craig Galati conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee D. White on October 24, 2016 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Galati talks about his parents’ decision to move from Ohio to Nevada and what it was like growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada in the late 1960s. He recalls his first jobs as a teenager in Las Vegas, and his studies in architecture at the University of Idaho. He recounts the dilemma of struggling to find architecture work he enjoyed and how that goal drew him back to Las Vegas. He describes various projects in his portfolio from his early years to his most recent projects. Galati describes the work he has done at Aliante Hotel and Casino and the renovation of Lied Library at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
