Collection is comprised of annual budgets, financial statements, and auditor's reports dating from 1976 to 1989 created for the city of Boulder City, Nevada and adopted by the City Council.
Patron provided the following comment: This was located in the 200 block of West Montgomery behind where the ambulance garage is now. Building originally was the Miner's Union Hall in Rhyolite. It was moved to Beatty in 1914. Caption: The hall affording dances and movies.

Materials contain photographs of J. T. McWilliams and the McWilliams family from 1930 to 1938. McWilliams was a surveyor and civil engineer who founded the original Las Vegas townsite (McWilliams Town). He also owned a portion of Lee Canyon, which he donated to become a public park.
Oral history interview with Mark Hall-Patton conducted by Stefani Evans and Claytee D. White on August 25, 2016 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. Hall-Patton discusses coming to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1993, creating the Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum, and becoming a director for Clark County Museums in 2008, just when the economic downturn caused large layoffs and a drop in visitor numbers. He also talks about how joining the television show Pawn Stars in 2009 significantly raised visitor numbers and increased visibility of museums all over the Las Vegas Valley.
