Oral history interview with Jack Herst conducted by Suzan DiFederico on March 01, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Herst talks about the population growth in Nevada and emphasizes the significant changes that Las Vegas, Nevada has experienced from its origins as a small town. Herst also discusses his personal family history, his Jewish identity, community affiliations, and his career as a card dealer and broker at different casinos.

Oral history interview with John W. Crabbe conducted by Patricia van Betten on January 19, 2004 for the Blue Diamond Oral History Project. In the interview, Crabbe discusses moving to Blue Diamond Village in southern Nevada as a child in the 1950s. Crabbe talks about attending Rancho High School in Las Vegas, Nevada and the long bus commute he took daily to school. Crabbe then recalls his experiences horseback riding in Bonnie Springs, Nevada and his employment at Howard Hughes' airline, Hughes Air West. Lastly, Crabbe discusses the civic activities available growing up in the Blue Diamond Village.

Oral history interview with Tom Ehlen conducted by Lisa Gioia-Acres on January 10, 2008 for the All That Jazz Oral History Project. Ehlen recalls his career as a professional trumpet player including playing with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Frank Sinatra, Burt Bacharach, and others. He also discusses playing in the bands of various casinos on the Las Vegas, Nevada Strip.

Oral history interview with Russell K. Grater conducted by James M. Greene on November 25, 1974 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Grater discusses the National Park Service, the history of housing developments in Las Vegas, Nevada and Nelson, Nevada, the leaf system of local plants, and tourism.

Oral history interview with J.K. Houssels Sr. conducted by an unknown collector on November 12, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Houssels discusses his ownership of the Las Vegas Club casino on Fremont Street in Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1930s. Houssels also discusses other casino partnerships that he invested in, and the casino business.

Oral history interview with Norma Norman conducted by Dorthy Richardson-Martin on November 30, 2004 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Norman reflects upon her experience as an elementary school administrator in California’s Hayward Unified School District. She discusses her experience as a female African American teacher in the 1960s and 1970s, and how those experiences shaped her approach to school administration. She also discusses school district programs and policies, and how such programs impact different populations of students.

Oral history interview with Bill Sheehan conducted by Claytee D. White on July 01, 2009 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Sheehan discusses growing up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, serving in the United States Marine Corps in the 1940s, becoming a certified public accountant, and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1962. He then talks about starting his own accounting firm in 1971 and retiring in 1997.
