Horn, Alice Arleen Kimball, 1918-2007

Alice Arleen Kimball Horn was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She was born December 22, 1918 in Smith County, Kansas to Anna and Mike Baetz. She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1944 and lived there for sixty-two years, working for the Southern Nevada Telephone Company, also known as Centel and later known as Embarq. Horn died February 7, 2007.

Syphus, Levi Walter, 1866-1949

Levi Walter Syphus, born April 22, 1866, was a pioneer of southern Nevada who represented Lincoln County in the Nevada Legislature between 1902 and 1912. He lived in Panaca and Saint Thomas, Nevada, and died on April 14, 1949.
