Oral history interview with Joseph Delaney conducted by Carol Hunter on October 24, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Joseph Delaney first discusses how Las Vegas, Nevada looked when he first moved to the city in 1961 and the evolution of performance places and the admission processes within the hotels. Delaney also discusses the agreements between the properties and various entertainers for their residencies, while mentioning the entertainers involved with said agreements. Oral history interview with Joseph Rojas conducted by Lisa Gioia-Acres on September 30, 2008 for the Heart to Heart Oral History Project. Rojas discusses being an obstetrician and a gynecologist in Las Vegas, Nevada, starting in 1961. He also discusses becoming the first Obstetrics-Gynecology (OB-GYN) residency in Nevada, which led to the development of the University Of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Medicine.

Oral history interview with Micheal Miller conducted by Broderick T. Ackerman on April 05, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Miller discusses arriving to Ely, Nevada in the 1920s and later moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in the late 1920s. Miller then discusses the businesses that he invested in and other properties that he purchased throughout his lifetime. Miller speaks about his time working on ranches and as a trapper in Northern Nevada. He also speaks about his time running nightclubs in Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as seeing much growth throughout his time living in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Lestor Burgwardt conducted by Connie Carr on February 09, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Burgwardt covers local entertainment, Lake Mead, school districts, and gaming’s effect on the educational system. He also recalls his move to Nevada and offers a general overview of Henderson, Nevada in 1954.

Oral history interview with Lois Mathews conducted by Pat Kohlman on December 07, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Mathews discusses early life in Boulder City, Nevada. Mathews also discusses the changes that Boulder City, Nevada had as a result of the population growth in Southern Nevada. Mathews later describes her various visits to Las Vegas, Nevada and recalls attending shows at the casinos on Fremont Street.
