Oral history interviews with Carolyn MacMullen conducted by Su Kim Chung on April 21, 2014 and July 07, 2014 for the West Charleston Neighborhoods: an Oral History Project of Ward 1. In these interviews, MacMullen discusses being a dancer in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Sands, Desert Inn, and Sahara throughout the 1950s. She recalls working as a dresser and describes what it is like to be backstage during a show production. MacMullen then talks about changes in showgirl costumes, the Texas Copa Girls, and her decision to stop dancing. Lastly, MacMullen discusses living in the West Charleston area and changes in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Norma Norman conducted by Dorthy Richardson-Martin on November 30, 2004 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Norman reflects upon her experience as an elementary school administrator in California’s Hayward Unified School District. She discusses her experience as a female African American teacher in the 1960s and 1970s, and how those experiences shaped her approach to school administration. She also discusses school district programs and policies, and how such programs impact different populations of students.

Oral history interview with Barry Gunderson conducted by Scott Fiszer on October 18, 2002 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Gunderson reflects upon his 28-year career as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD). He discusses his approach to school administration, his regular responsibilities, and some of his biggest challenges. He offers suggestions for individuals interested in pursuing school administration, and uses his own experiences to give examples of having to make difficult decisions as an administrator.

Oral history interview with David Broxterman conducted by Dr. David Emerson on February 24, 2007 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. David Broxterman discusses having a long career with the Air Force including being a member of an Air Force association that helped push for an engineering school at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He also discusses being the administrative manager for the Clark County School District.

Oral history interview with Corrine Sidney conducted by Claytee D. White on June 05, 2007 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview Corrine Sidney discusses her life as an actress, moving to Las Vegas, Nevada to work as a showgirl at the Sands Hotel and Casino, moving back to Los Angeles, California, marrying George Sidney, and moving back to Las Vegas with George.

Oral history interview with Della Coates conducted by Bill Hitchcock on March 18, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Coates discusses public services, atomic testing, Nellis Air Force Base, the education system, military life, the difference in wages between careers, and wage changes. She also describes her time working for the telephone company.

Oral history interview with Ann McGinley conducted by Claytee White on August 01, 2006 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. McGinley discusses her careers working as a lawyer and teaching at several law schools before coming to teach at the Boyd Law School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1999.
