Oral history interview with Frances L. Turner conducted by Norma Williams on February 28, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Turner discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada during World War II after her husband was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. Turner describes life in Las Vegas during wartime, the jobs she held, and life after the war. She goes on to talk about moving to Pahrump, Nevada, describing life in the town and its local farming and dairy industries. Turner also details her career in the postal service and her experiences in the field.

Oral history interview with Michael Howe conducted by Claytee D. White and Stefani Evans on July 05, 2017 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Howe discusses his upbringing in Las Vegas, Nevada and growing up in the Huntridge neighborhood. He talks about joining the Las Vegas Department of Planning in 2007, projects he has been a part of, and involving the community when development planning. Howe describes the master planning for Downtown area of Las Vegas, public-private partnerships, and the idea of sustainability in public spaces. Lastly, Howe discusses the importance of developing transportation accommodations in the city.

In this interview Chic Hecht discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1945. He also talks about the retail business world, being a state senator, being a U.S. senator, and being an ambassador to the island nation of the Bahamas.

Oral history interview with LaMoyne Hinricksen conducted by Chuck Williams on July 03, 2013 for the Friends of Red Rock Canyon in Nevada Oral History Project. Hinricksen begins the interview by discussing his time working on different ranches, his move to Wilson Ranch, then finally to Oliver Ranch in 1954. Hinricksen also speaks about his time working with others and of strange unexplained events that happened on the ranch. He describes Blue Diamond Village and his time living there. Lastly, he talks about property structures and speaks more about his time at Oliver Ranch.

Oral history interview with Stanley Paher conducted by Javier Romero on March 04, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Paher describes his personal history in Las Vegas, Nevada and the layout of the city when its population was only eight thousand people. Paher describes the development of bigger casinos in Las Vegas and the evolution of the Strip. Paher also discusses his career as a writer and publisher, writing about the ghost towns of Nevada.

Oral history interview with Cindy Baca conducted by Barbara Tabach on May 22, 2019 for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project.

Cindy Baca, born and raised in Las Vegas, talks about her family and occupation as a librarian at Escobedo Middle School. Cindy's twin daughters were present and injured during the Route 91 Festival and October 1 shooting. She describes their experiences and the Random Acts of Kindness project she piloted at her school after the incident.

Oral history interview with Maurice Flores conducted by Andre Yates on April 1, 2002 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Flores reflects upon his 29-year career as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD) from the 1970s to the 2000s. He discusses his experience working in special education and magnet programs, his approach to education, and the process by which he became a principal.
