Oral history interview with Esther Wolverton conducted by Karl Kuopus on February 25, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview Wolverton discusses her move to southern Nevada in 1928 and her life in Las Vegas, Nevada with her family. She also talks about life with her husband after he returned from serving in World War I. Wolverton describes the entertainment in Las Vegas and recreational activities she participated in. Later, she discusses the first Helldorado Parade, development of the Las Vegas Strip, and changes in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Harry Wham conducted by Martha Mast on March 07, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Wham discusses arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1954 as an entertainer at the Silver Slipper Casino. Wham then talks about underwater diving and his experiences as a professional diver. Wham later recalls discovering jellyfish and other marine animals at Lake Mead during one of his diving trips. Lastly, Wham discusses the changes that Las Vegas went through, specifically changes in live entertainment around the city.

Oral history interview with Zach Mossman conducted by David Schwartz on January 05, 2017 for the Slot Operations Oral History Project. Mossman discusses being an executive through several Las Vegas, Nevada Strip properties such as the Aria Hotel and Casino, and the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. Mossman then explains what drew him to slot operations, what guests want when playing slots, and the importance of time on device.

In this interview Stan Hawkins discusses the cost of living in Las Vegas, Nevada, Howard Hughes, the Boulder Dam, the Union Pacific Railroad, the old Mormon Fort, gambling, local businesses, and the weather in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Alice Brumage conducted by Claytee D. White on January 30, 2019 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Brumage discusses her upbringing in Boulder City, Nevada and the construction of the Hoover Dam (Boulder Dam). She remembers her father’s involvement in the construction of the Dam, her parent’s membership in the Boulder City Rifle and Pistol Club, and the growth of Boulder City.

Oral history interview with Wendell Bunker on October of 1971 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Wendell Bunker (b. 1911 in St. Thomas, Nevada), discusses early Las Vegas, Nevada and the socio-economic changes that have taken place in the Valley. Bunker talks about the Boulder (Hoover) Dam and religion and education in Nevada. He also describes working for the Union Pacific Railroad and the importance of the railroad to the economic development of Las Vegas.

Oral history interviews with Irma Varela conducted by Barbara Tabach on December 04, 2018 and March 05, 2019 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In these interviews, Varela talks about her upbringing in Zacatecas, Mexico, her move to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1989, and how religion has affected her life. She also describes her work as the Cultural Program Supervisor at Winchester Community Center, and her career in preserving Hispanic cultural traditions in Las Vegas. Varela talks about being an active leader in local Las Vegas organizations and events such as the Mexico Vivo Dancing Company, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrations, and the International Food and Folklife Festival.
