Fred Kennedy was a character and stunt actor known for his more than twenty-five years of experience. Born on December 22, 1909 in Ainsworth, Nebraska, Kennedy performed stunts in films including The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938), Red River (1948), and the Howard Hughes-produced The Conqueror (1956).
Kennedy died on December 05, 1958 in Natchioches, Louisiana while filming The Horse Soldiers.
The Legislative Files series (1979-1988) contains Congressional legislation passed or considered during Chic Hecht's term in the United States Senate, including Senate Bills (SB), Senate Concurrent Resolutions (SCR), and Senate Joint Resolutions (SJR). Supporting correspondence, memoranda, and press clippings are also included.

The Personal series contains materials from 1941 to 1983. It includes blank souvenir postcards of England and France, typewritten journal entries by Joanne de Longchamps, original correspondence from Joanne de Longchamps to her mother, Ruth Cutten, photocopies of her correspondence to fellow poet, Harold Witt, as well as correspondence about her poetry.
Materials contain newspaper articles and publications on gambling from 1950 to 2011 collected by Eugene Martin Christiansen. The materials are primarily comprised of newspaper articles on subjects such as legal and illegal gaming, crime, taxes, proposed gaming legislation and regulations, casino games, pari-mutuel wagering, bankruptcies and lawsuits, casino design, and casino licensing.
Materials include newspaper articles, reports, correspondence, and memoranda concerning racing, racetracks, and pari-mutuel wagering from 1968 to 2013 collected by Eugene Martin Christiansen. The files primarily consist of newspaper articles, annual reports from racetracks and state racing commissions, and statistics on racetrack attendance and handle.
The Walter Bracken and the Las Vegas, Nevada office sub-series (1828-1968) is comprised of information related to the development of Las Vegas, Nevada and Yermo, California, including land and water purchases and sales, company cottage leases, accounting, Board of Directors meetings, the Las Vegas Ranch and other documentation.
Political campaign and activism posters include material from political candidates running in the city of Las Vegas and the state of Nevada from 1940 to 1974. Also included are posters from local- and state-level organizations promoting political candidates, policies, legislation, and issues associated with civil rights, labor laws, and education.
