Oral history interview with Gertrude Naegle conducted by Jeff Bradshaw on March 31, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Thomas Kerestesi discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1956, growing up in the Mcneil Estates neighborhood of Las Vegas, graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno, and moving back to Las Vegas with his wife Buffie. He also talks about working at Cragin and Pike Insurance Agency alongside his father and the various organizations he associated with.

Oral history interview with Marie Jordan conducted by Edward Gentry on February 27, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Jordan discusses the social differences between Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada, particularly in the ways schools were segregated. Jordan also discusses the “Whites Only” policy on the Las Vegas Strip.

In this interview Lee Gray discusses working at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as a grounds keeper, a member of the moving crew, a member of the heating/ventilation and air conditioning crew. He then talks about transitioning to supervisor of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Heating/Ventilation and Air Conditioning department.

Oral history interview with Jean Bennett conducted by Claytee D. White on July 8, 2008 for the All That Jazz Oral History Project. Bennett discusses how she went to California from Missouri to pursue her dreams of being a singer. She also discusses her career working for Buck Ram, who wrote, produced and arranged for the Platters, the Drifters, and many more singing groups of early rock-and-roll and rhythm-and-blues genres.

Oral history interview with Mert Wilber conducted by Gabriel Filippone on March 05, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Wilber discusses his arrival to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1942 to work for the Basic Magnesium Plant in Henderson, Nevada. Wilber describes how and where the magnesium was mined. Wilber lastly discusses the low crime rate at the time, and the sudden growth in population starting in the 1950s.

Oral history interview with Viki Richardson conducted by Chuck Williams on July 3, 2013 for the Friends of Red Rock Canyon in Nevada Oral History Project. Richardson begins the interview by talking about her family life and childhood in Oliver Ranch. She describes what her family did at the ranch as caretakers and tells stories when she lived in Blue Diamond Village, Nevada. Lastly, she describes what the town of Blue Diamond was like, and the history and layout of the Oliver Ranch property.
