Oral history interview with Charles Adams (born 1930 in Juliet, Illinois) conducted by Robert Melcer on February 27, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Oral history interview with William (Bob) Bailey conducted by Claytee White on November 19, 1997 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. William H. “Bob” Bailey discusses how he arrived in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1955 to become the emcee at the Moulin Rouge and how he entered a black community that used his talents in the fight for equality and justice. He then discusses how the closing of the Moulin Rouge after a few months of operation propelled him into services on the Equal Rights Commission as well as a career in the television industry, ownership in several local gaming establishments, and formation of the NEDCO (Nevada Economic Development Company).

The Company Mobility Histories Papers (1972-1977) includes surveys completed by students for Nevada History 117, a course taught by Professor Ralph Roske at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Students followed locations, phone numbers, ownership, and name changes of various businesses over their time of operation. Included were hotels, convenience stores, automotive shops, construction companies, and markets.

Oral history interview with John Hirsch conducted by Shannon Morrison on March 20, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Hirsch discusses his personal history, experiences in Las Vegas, Nevada, and his thoughts on the types of changes the city went through since his move to the city in 1937.

Allen discusses working in human resources for the military, as well as working for his father in the Las Vegas Strip area.
