Oral history interview with Carol Bumgarner conducted by Kelly Fawcett on November 16, 2009 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Bumgarner reflects on her 30-year career as a teacher and administrator in the Clark County School District. Oral history interview with Lonnie Wright conducted by Claytee White on October 23, 2009 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Wright describes the casino mentality of racism and sexism that he encountered. Wright also discusses dealing with the odds and his business endeavors. Wright then describes the value of being a team player and using athletics as a marketing strategy.

Oral history interview with Francis Cortney conducted by Derek Bellow on February 16, 2001 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Cortney reflects upon his roughly 20-year career as a junior high school administrator with the Clark County School District (CCSD) from the 1960s to the 1980s. He discusses his upbringing and decision to become a teacher, describes the process by which he became a principal, and discusses challenges that he faced as principal. He expresses his opinion of standardized testing, and reflects upon having the Francis H. Cortney Junior High School named in his honor.

Oral history interview with Tom Hutton conducted by Beatriz Romero on November 25, 2002 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Hutton reflects upon his career in education in both Iowa and Nevada. He describes his upbringing, colleges that he attended for teaching programs, and how he first started teaching. He then discusses the process by which he became a school administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD) in the late 1980s, his approach to leadership, and his regular duties and responsibilities as principal. He also discusses retirement, and the factors that led to his decision to retire in the 2000s.

Oral history interview with Marilyn Martin conducted by Irene Rostine on October 09, 1996 for the Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN). Martin opens her interview by discussing moving to Nevada in 1963 with her husband and two small children. Martin describes her career with the Southern Nevada Telephone company as a customer service representative. Martin compares the requirements to work for the phone company in New York state with the lesser requirements of Nevada. Martin goes on to discuss her training, salary, and her overall experiences at the telephone company.

Oral history interview with Emma Oliver conducted by Jan Marshall on March 19, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Oliver discusses her personal history and the history of Las Vegas, Nevada. Oliver discusses how Las Vegas has changed, casinos in Las Vegas, the Mormon Church, and the race riots at a shopping center in North Las Vegas in 1968. Oliver also discusses race relations between white and African American children in schools.
