Oral history interview with Shirley Price conducted by Jodi Tenuta on March 10, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Price talks about her experiences living in Las Vegas, Nevada. She talks about her family history, Helldorado Days, and presidential visits to Las Vegas. Oral history interview with Mary V. Strachan conducted by Bill Strachan on February 26, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Strachan discusses her personal history before arriving in Boulder City, Nevada in 1953. Strachan also describes population growth in Boulder City and Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as the development of Boulder City Hospital. Lastly, Strachan discusses her employment as a nurse at Boulder City Hospital.

In the interview, Hayes discusses her early life in Las Vegas, Nevada performing at the El Rancho Vegas and operating the Red Rooster, one of the first clubs on the Las Vegas Strip. Hayes also discusses her interactions with other Las Vegas, Nevada celebrities and public figures.

Oral history interview with Lorna Kesterson conducted by James M. Greene on October 18, 1974 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Kesterson discusses her work in news editing as well as her original reasons for moving to Southern Nevada. She also discusses teenage social life of Boulder City, Nevada during the 1940s.

Oral history interview with Janet Adams conducted by Glodene Sawyer on October 13, 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Adams (born in Scotland) discusses her move to Las Vegas, Nevada from California with her husband. Adams also briefly discusses early churches, the above-ground atomic testing, President Kennedy’s visit, and her enjoyment in recreational fishing.

Oral history interview with Paul Pradia conducted by Claytee D. White on July 13, 2010 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Pradia discusses living in Cameron, Louisiana and the natural disasters that he experienced. Pradia recalls joining the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program at Southern University (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) and later receiving a commission to the United States Army. He describes race-relations in the military during the early 1960s and his employment for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Lastly, Pradia discusses African American golfers and teaching golf professionally in Las Vegas, Nevada.
