Oral history interview with Gertrude Toston conducted by Claytee D. White on July 21, 2006 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. Toston discusses attending the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in the 1960s. She also discusses working as a customer service representative for Western Airlines for 27 years before going back to UNLV to work on her master's degree in special education. She then talks about working as a graduate teaching assistant and student teacher advisor at UNLV and as a teacher at Brinley Junior High.

Oral history interview with Walter Dane conducted by Ann K. Clark on March 11, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Dane discusses relocating to Indian Springs in 1930 before settling in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1943, then moving to Utah in 1968. Dane also covers the growth and development of the Las Vegas and Indian Springs areas.

Oral history interview with Withania Neal conducted by Claytee D. White on August 9, 2006 for the Hurricane Katrina Survivors in Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Neal discusses her upbringing in Las Vegas, Nevada. She remembers attending a sixth grade center, and going to Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Neal talks about her experience with hurricane season in Louisiana, evacuating, and the development of hurricane Katrina. She describes the broken levees, the flooding of New Orleans, and the chaos that followed. Lastly, Neal recalls the weeks after the hurricane, damaged homes, and the process of rebuilding the community.

Oral history interview with Paulette Nelson conducted by Claytee White on March 2, 2009 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. Nelson discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1981 and working at the Nevada Test Site for two years. Nelson then talks about being offered a position in the cataloging department at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Libraries. Lastly, she talks about being supervisor of the Architecture Studies Library for nine years until her retirement in 2009.

Ryann Juden, an Assistant City Manager, talks about the growth of North Las Vegas under the leadership of Mayor John Lee. Oral history interview with Dr. Sandra Carmody conducted by Alyson Jones and Dottie Kulesza on August 3, 2001 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Carmody discusses her personal philosophy of education and how it transformed over the span of her career in education from the late 1960s to 2000. Though the bulk of her career was with the Clark County School District, she discusses general duties and responsibilities of school principals, challenges that administrators face, and her suggestions for successful principalship. She also discusses her family background, growing up in New York before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada to receive teaching certification from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She then discusses the process by which she began working with the Clark County School District following her certification from UNLV, and how she went from being a teacher to assuming the role of principal.
