University of Nevada, Las Vegas Office of Civic Engagement and Diversity was renamed Student Engagement and Diversity May 1, 2015. The office's function remained the same. "Our mission and four core values of Involvement, Leadership, Service, and Diversity will remain the same. You can still expect to see signature programs such as Premier UNLV, Involvement Fairs, Cultural Identity Months, Rebel Variety Show, Rebel Days of Service, Alternate Breaks, Festival of Communities, Diversity Dialogues, and our immersive Leadership Retreats.
Lucille Bruner founded the Las Vegas Art League in 1950 after she moved to the city from Santa Fe, New Mexico. When the City of Las Vegas bought the Twin Lakes Lodge in what is now Lorenzi Park in Las Vegas, Nevada the Las Vegas Art League requested and obtained three buildings in which to teach and display art. The Art League became the Las Vegas Art Museum (LVAM) n 1974.
The Las Vegas Art Museum relocated to the Sahara West Library and Fine Art Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1997. They remained in operation until 2009.
The audiovisual material in boxes 41 to 43 date from 1952 to 1954 and undated and contains performances by Billy Eckstine and rehearsals in the Copa Room. Also included are parties and radio programs that were staged at the Sands Hotel. Box 41 contains a printing block, Sands Times magazine, brochures, a story board, and a photograph of a hearing involving Grand Canyon air disasters.

Materials contain publications, photographs, employee manuals, and new employee orientation video recordings created by Harrah’s Reno Club, Harrah’s Tahoe Club, Harrah’s Inc., Holiday Inns, Inc., Holiday Corporation, the Promus Companies, and Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. (1955-1999). The materials are primarily comprised of Harrah’s brand casino, hotel, and resort newsletters, Harrah-scope magazines, and photographs of employees and various Harrah’s properties.
The Locations outside Nevada and California: research files (1960-1999) sub-series consists of research files, negatives, maps, illustrations, and manuscripts pertaining to locations in Arizona, Utah, Hell’s Canyon in Idaho, and Wenas Creek in Washington.
