Oral history interview with Myram Borders conducted by Claytee D. White on February 9, 2009 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Myram Borders discusses growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada and how she graduated from University of Nevada, Reno, worked as a journalist in Reno (Nevada), Los Angeles (California), and in Las Vegas starting in 1965. She also discusses acting as head of the Las Vegas News Bureau.

Oral history interview with Herb Tobman conducted by Deborah Fischer on March 13, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview Herb Tobman talks about moving to Las Vegas, Nevada while working for Standard Oil as a tire, battery and accessory salesman, then working for the Moulin Rouge as the general manager in 1955. He gives a description of the hotels on Las Vegas Boulevard and downtown. Tobman then discusses the types of gambling that were popular. He also talks about the accommodations, transportation, entertainment, and the economy.

Oral history interview with Ferren Bunker conducted by Debra Leu on July 02, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Bunker discusses early above-ground atomic tests, the economy, employment, environmental changes, life during World War II, and his heritage as a native Nevadan pioneer.

Oral history interview with Oscar Goodman conducted by David Schwartz on January 05, 2009 for the Remembering Jay Sarno Oral History Project. In this interview, Goodman discusses initially meeting Jay Sarno and representing him as his lawyer. He remembers the allegations of organized crimes within Sarno’s properties, Las Vegas gaming at the time, and Sarno’s involvement with the development of Las Vegas. Lastly, Goodman talks about becoming Mayor of Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Jim Hodge conducted by Claytee D. White on April 13, 2009 for the Boyer Las Vegas Early History Project. Hodge discusses being a singer and performing in Hollywood, California, as well as in various shows in Las Vegas, Nevada, including the Lido at the Stardust Hotel. He then discusses his career as a real estate agent.

Oral history interview with Larry K. Lytle conducted by Kenneth V. Higbee on April 26, 2004 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Lytle reflects upon his 30-year career as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Lincoln County School District (LCSD) from the 1970s to the 2000s. He describes the process by which he became a principal, and describes his approach to fostering a safe learning environment for students and staff. He also describes how his religious beliefs shaped his approach to leadership, and how his responsibilities changed over time as he simultaneously oversaw the elementary, middle, and high school in Alamo, Nevada. He provides his opinion on schooling challenges such as standardized testing, and offers suggestions for individuals interested in pursuing school administration.

Oral history interview with Juanita Gusewelle conducted by Nita Kreuzer on March 06, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Gusewelle discusses life during World War I and II, the effects of the Great Depression, Nellis Air Force Base, Helldorado Days, and political changes in Las Vegas, Nevada.
