Oral history interview with Fredric “Rick” Watson conducted by Mark Romonoski on April 19, 2001 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Watson reflects upon his more than 30-year career with Nevada’s Clark County School District as a teacher and administrator from 1964 to 2000. He describes the process by which he became an elementary school principal, and discusses his personal approach to education. He describes challenges that he faced at different elementary schools, discusses political challenges within the school district, and comments on having a school named after him.

Oral history interview with Christina Gruber conducted by Barbara Tabach on March 2, 2019 for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project. In this interview, Gruber shares her experience living in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1997 and as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), mother of two, and physical fitness enthusiast. She recalls being shot during the Route 91 Harvest Festival and being rescued by strangers. She recalls the chaos of the evening, but also how strangers worked together to comfort each other amidst the terror. Oral history interview with Bill Sheehan conducted by Claytee D. White on July 01, 2009 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Sheehan discusses growing up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, serving in the United States Marine Corps in the 1940s, becoming a certified public accountant, and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1962. He then talks about starting his own accounting firm in 1971 and retiring in 1997.

Oral history interview with Arte Nathan conducted by Claytee D. White on December 11, 2014 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Nathan discusses working in human relations for Wynn Resorts and opening all of Steve Wynn's properties around the world starting with the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. He also discusses how the casino industry evolved to allow management and labor to work for the interests of both.

Oral history interview with Virgil Barler conducted by Shirley Leavitt on November 19, 2003 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Barler discusses moving to Nevada to work at the Blue Diamond mine and moving from a house to a trailer in the Blue Diamond Village. He shares personal experiences and recollections about his various jobs at the mine, including working in the board factory, as a bulldozer operator, an oiler, and in the shop. He also talks about technological changes at the mine, Blue Diamond Village, and many of the local residents.

Oral history interview with Flora Jones conducted by Claytee D. White on July 19, 2007 for the UNLV @ 50 Oral History Project. In this interview Flora Jones discusses getting a job at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), in the admissions office. She then discusses her work environment, the UNLV Campus, downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, and the students she worked with. She also shares her opinions of many facets of UNLV today, including the new student union and recreational buildings as well as UNLV becoming a Research I institution.

Oral history interview with Charley Schneider conducted by Sherryl Weber on March 13, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Schneider discusses his personal history and growing up in Boulder City, Nevada and Las Vegas, Nevada. He then describes recreational activities, education, and recalls the population growth of both cities. Lastly, Schneider goes on to discuss his employment at Farmers Insurance Company.
