Oral history interview with Janet Saxton conducted by Francine Gordon on November 10, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Saxton reflects upon her twenty years as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District. She discusses the interactions between teachers and principals, and challenges that she faced in fostering relationships with teachers. She then describes her personal approach to school administration, and discusses how her upbringing and experiences shaped that approach.

Mather discusses living in Boulder City, Nevada, moving to Las Vegas, Nevada after his military service, and later discusses additional work experience. He also touches upon his political views, his opinion on gambling, and changes in Las Vegas over time.

Oral history interview with Floyd Jenne conducted by Gordon Brusso on April 04, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Mr. Jenne discusses living and working in McGill, Nevada in the 1920’s and 1930’s. He offers insight into the school system in McGill, as well. He also speaks about working in Boulder City, Nevada as a police officer with the Bureau of Reclamation.

Oral history interview with Bob Colucci conducted by David Schwartz on April 29, 2005 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Colucci discusses his early life in Brooklyn, New York and first job in the newspaper delivery business, his military career, and his return to work for the New York Herald Tribune newspaper. He continues talking about the newspaper business, his advancement, and his work with the union. He then begins talking about his interest in boxing and how this interest led to his involvement in the sport as a trainer and manager.

Oral history interview with Louise Madden conducted by Jerry Masini on July 08, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Madden discusses her personal history and recalls her various occupations in Las Vegas, Nevada casinos. Madden also discusses the changes in the casinos and the Las Vegas Strip while Las Vegas, Nevada grew in population.
