Oral history interview with Velma Haselton conducted by Catherine Bellver on September 13, 2001 for the Women's Research Institute of Nevada (WRIN) Las Vegas Women Oral History Project. Haselton opens her interview describing her childhood and schooling. Haselton then discusses finishing her accounting degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Hasleton talks about her three marriages, her husbands' jobs and her experiences in the various marriages. Haselton goes on to discuss moving back and forth from Nevada to California for her career in accounting. Haselton ends her interview describing why she finally settled in Las Vegas, Nevada, and her work as a CPA at the Kafoury Accounting firm.

In this interview, McKay talks about the history of education in Southern Nevada. He specifically talks about the quality of education and racial integration in schools in early Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Neri Mauzy conducted by William Hunter Witt on October 20, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In this inetrview, Neri Mauzy discusses her early life in Guatemala, as well as her immigration to the United States in 1962. She relates her feelings on the immigration process and the differences between the United States and Guatemala. Neri reflects on the politics and culture around the time she moved to the United States, sharing her feelings on the Civil Rights Movement in the United States. She also discusses being a mother and raising children as an immigrant.

Oral history interview with John J. Page conducted by Lois Goodall on April 16, 2014 for the West Charleston Neighborhoods--an Oral History Project of Ward 1. In this interview, John Page discusses joining the United States Air Force and then moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in February 1959. He then discusses starting out as an elementary school teacher. He also talks about moving to the neighborhood of Westleigh, family life in that neighborhood, and teaching in the area.

Oral history interview with Phyllis M. Silvestri conducted by Claytee D. White on January 11, 2010 for the Voices of the Historic John S. Park neighborhood Oral History Project. In this interview Phyllis Silvestri discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, specifically to the historic John S. Park neighborhood. She talks about interesting features of her home like a bomb-shelter. She then discusses how her children were discriminated against in the neighborhood when going outside to play because they are Italian.

Oral history interview with Carrie Neal conducted by Aireona Bradford on November 15, 2015 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, Neal discusses her upbringing and migration from the South, her marriage and move to Las Vegas, Nevada, her work in the back-of-the-house at multiple casino-hotels, the Black church and the influence of the Culinary Union.

Oral history interview with Helen Smith conducted by Emily Powers on March 04, 2008 for the Heart to Heart Oral History Project. Smith discusses working as a nurse at Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital, which is now the University Medical Center, and for the Nevada State Industrial Insurance System. She also talks about the Eighth Street Hospital, St. Rose de Lima Hospital in Henderson, Nevada, and Sunrise Hospital.
