The Southwest Oral History Association Records contains records of the Southwest Oral History Association (SOHA) from 1981 to 2020. Records include agendas and minutes from the executive board committee, financial records, correspondence, photographs, and planning documents for SOHA's annual conference.

Oral history interview with Dean Otteson conducted by Felicia McCabe on November 04, 2008 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. Oral history interview with Dan Skanovsky conducted by Richard A. Kelly on April 02, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Skanovsky discusses the legalization of gambling and his experiences in the gambling industry in Nevada. Skanovsky talks about living in Tonopah, Nevada. Later, Skanovsky discusses casinos, their operations, and the chances of winning money in casinos.

Oral history interview with Mary Noblitt conducted by Mary Sawdey on March 13, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Noblitt discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada and building housing in the southern part of town. Noblitt goes on to discuss communication through railroad and morse code. Lastly, Noblitt discusses the above ground atomic tests.

Oral history interview with Bunny Harris conducted by Kenneth P. Young on February 28, 1979 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project. This interview offers an overview of the history of Las Vegas, including transportation, mining, farming, ranching, and housing. During the interview, Mrs. Bunny Harris discusses the Elks Club, Cashman Field, McCarran Airport, Howard Hughes and Nellis Air Force Base.
