Oral history interview with William Morgan conducted by David G. Schwartz on October 21, 2016 for the Slot Operations Oral History Project. Morgan discusses his background in slot repair and management, including his experiences in opening several properties such as the Aladdin Hotel and Casino and the Stratosphere Casino. Oral history interview with Joe Cortez conducted by Laurents Bañuelos-Benitez on November 29, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Cortez discusses his early life in New York City, New York and growing up in the Spanish Harlem. He talks about Puerto Rican traditions he participated in, his early interest in boxing, competing in the Golden Glove tournaments, and becoming a boxing referee. Cortez recalls some of the biggest fights he refereed, and being inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame in 2011. Lastly, Cortez discusses the boxing rivalry between Mexican and Puerto Rican boxers, and the future of boxing.

Oral history interview with Elizabeth Francis conducted by Emily Powers on July 21, 2008 for the Heart to Heart Oral History Project. Francis discusses being a Licensed Practical Nurse at Southern Nevada Memorial Hospital and working for Dr. Fink. She discusses teaching nursing there and at the Sunrise Hospital, as well as working for Workmen's Compensation.

Oral history interview with Don Payne conducted by Mara E. Vernon on March 19, 1997 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Payne discusses his career with the Las Vegas News Bureau. He talks about his role as Head of the Bureau and his work in promoting Las Vegas through media outlets. Payne remembers the Bureau’s partnership with the Union Pacific Railroad and the beginning of corporate ownership in Las Vegas hotels and casinos.

Oral history interview with Withania Neal conducted by Claytee D. White on July 09, 2006 for the Hurricane Katrina Survivors in Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Neal discusses her upbringing in Las Vegas, Nevada. She remembers attending a sixth grade center, and going to Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Neal talks about her experience with hurricane season in Louisiana, evacuating, and the development of hurricane Katrina. She describes the broken levees, the flooding of New Orleans, and the chaos that followed. Lastly, Neal recalls the weeks after the hurricane, damaged homes, and the process of rebuilding the community.

Oral history interview with Ivan Jackson conducted by Sandy Steel on February 20, 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. This interview covers Jackson’s life in Southern Nevada. Jackson talks about his work on the Union Pacific Railroad as well as working with the Hampton Construction Company. Jackson also discusses environmental changes due to a growing population in Southern Nevada and its impact on hunting. The interview concludes with a discussion on the development of North Las Vegas, Nevada.
