This finding aid contains the thematic slides, contact sheets, and audiovisual materials taken and used by UNLV Creative Services for publicity and promotional purposes from approximately 1959 to 2009. The majority of the materials consist of images from various academic departments, athletics, buildings and historical views of campus, as well as faculty and student life. Also included in the collection are an assortment of print materials, such as theater and music programs, as well as audio cassettes and film reels from anniversary events around campus.

The Nevada-Utah Mines and Smelters Corporation Records (1889-1949) are comprised of the financial records of the company's activity regarding the Manhattan mine in Pioche, Lincoln County, Nevada. The collection contains bank records, accounts, and some correspondence, and is generally related to the company's financial activities. It also includes the company's financial vouchers, bills, receipts, and checks.

UNLV Libraries Collection of UNLV Campus Architectural Drawings and Photographs (1959-2006) is comprised of drawings and photographs of the UNLV main campus on Maryland Parkway and its constituent buildings. The collection also includes one CAD drawing of UNLV's campus, and architectural plans for the proposed College of Architecture building. The collection also includes proposed renderings of campus buildings including Frank and Estella Beam Hall, Artemus W. Ham Hall, and the Richard Tam Alumni Center.
