Abstract

Oral history interview with Ken Frejlach conducted by Chuck Williams on January 21, 2015 for the Friends of Red Rock Canyon in Nevada Oral History Project. Frejlach begins the interview by talking about his family life and how they started working on Oliver Ranch near Blue Diamond, Nevada. He describes their duties while working and the Carole Lombard plane crash site. Frejlach also talks about his mother's medical illness. He talks about his move the town of Blue Diamond, and describes his time there attending school. Lastly, he speaks more about the Oliver Ranch property.

News announcement release of the Las Vegas Valley Water District's spending plans for money raised from a $8,700,000 bond issue. The list was compiled by the district consulting engineer, James M. Montgomery and included improvement projects and their estimated cost. A document which detailed the voter registration process for the bond election is referenced below.

Abstract

The George Laurence Ullom Photograph Collection (1915-1974) contains photographic prints and negatives created by Las Vegas, Nevada photographer George Laurence "Larry" Ullom. Larry owned and operated Ullom’s Desert Art Studio, which was located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The bulk of the collection consists of Ullom's wedding chapel photography. The collection also includes his photography work for the Bureau of Reclamation, the Agricultural Extension Service, and the Associated Press, Atlantic News, and Acme news bureaus.

Guinn began working with the Nevada Test Site in 1970. Guinn was employed as a public relations specialist and coordinated tours of the Nevada Test Site.
