CityCenter Las Vegas is a mixed-use, urban complex built on the former site of the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino at Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue in Las Vegas, Nevada. It first opened on December 16, 2009.

Alamo Airways

Alamo Airways was a small air taxi company in Las Vegas during the 1940's through the 1960's. It's owner, George Crockett, opened the Alamo Airport to run Alamo Airways. The site of the Alamo Airport would eventually become the McCarran Airport, with Alamo Airways running out of the new airport until 1967. In 1967, Howard Hughes bought their facility.

Hopkins, John C. (1933)

John Chapman Hopkins was born on June 30, 1933 in Palo Alto, California. John married V. Adele on June 14, 1954 and had two children: Anna Adele an Barbara Ellen.

Hopkin was a scientist and test director as the J-division leader for the Nevada Test Site. In 1955 and 1956, Hopkins was a Los Alamos summer student.

Hopkins obtained a doctor of philosophy degree in physics from the University of Washington in 1960.

From 1960 to 1993 Hopkins was employed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).

O'Neill, Layton James

Layton James O'Neill was born on November 30, 1927, in Glendive, Montana. Layton married Melva Jean in October of 1976, and they had six children: Marilyn, Colleen, Michael, Jenny, Dennis, and Amy.

O'Neill was employed as a health physicist with Application Engineering Company (AEC) in affiliation with the Nevada Test Site. O'Neill also worked for Environmental Restoration and Waste Management (ERWM) and for the Department of Energy (DOE). O'Neill retired in 1994.

Daniel, Faye Duncan (1945 December 21-)

Beginning in clerical work at the Nevada Test Site, Daniel rose to become the Assistant Hotel Manager at Union Plaza Hotel and Casino. She established the Hotel Managers Association and the Professional Black Women's Alliance. After leaving the gaming industry, Daniel returned to school to train for a career in education. She worked closely with the Displaced Homemaker Program at the Community College of Southern Nevada and later with Help Centers of Southern Nevada.

The Dorothy Dorothy Photograph Collection (approximately 1910-1985) consists of black-and-white photographic prints and negatives as well as colored transparencies of Dorothy Dorothy. Included are photographs of campaigns, meetings, and banquets with various local and federal politicians. Also included are photographs of her husband, Dale Dorothy, and their ranch in Pahrump, Nevada.
