Oral history interview with Don Welch conducted by his daughter, Kelly Welch, on March 15, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Welch discusses his personal history and the history of Las Vegas, Nevada, including being raised in Las Vegas and life in the city during the 1930s. Oral history interview with Sandra Peña conducted by Lada Mead and Stefani Evans on March 27, 2017 for the Building Las Vegas Oral History Project. Peña recalls the family move to Porterville, California, and her work with Parson’s Dillingham, a contractor for the Metrolink rail system. She then discusses the link between the Los Angeles, California and Las Vegas, Nevada construction communities. Peña also discusses her ability to gain employment in Las Vegas at Parson’s and her move to Richardson Construction.

Massagli discusses being part of a singing act with her sisters called the Sawyer Sisters that often played Las Vegas, Nevada. She then discusses meeting her husband, Mark Tully Massagli, who was a musician, and making their home in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Frances Moore conducted by Susan Kendall on March 30, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Moore and her priest discuss their religious affiliations and go through baptism records at their church. Afterwards, Moore describes the history of Las Vegas, Nevada and prominent families in the city as she presents the interviewer her collection of photographs and records.
