Oral history interview with Javier Barajas conducted by Laurents Banuelos-Benitez, Marcela Rodriguez, and Barbara Tabach on November 20, 2018 for the Latinx Voices of Southern Nevada Oral History Project. In this interview, Javier Barajas describes his cultural upbringing and his Mexican heritage. He explains how he helped his grandparents in their restaurant, La Flor Michoacan, and learned how to cook during his time in seminary. He eventually moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to pursue his career. Barajas mentions that his first opportunity to practice cooking was when he worked as an executive chef for the owner of the restaurant Viva Zapata. After the restaurant closed down, Barajas went on to open his own restaurant, El Lindo Michoacan, and it became a popular place to enjoy Mexican cuisine in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Donna Rodriguez conducted by Justin Burrows on November 24, 2014 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, Rodriguez discusses her personal history and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1993. She describes her first impressions of the city, her employment at McCarran International Airport, and working as a security dispatcher for casinos. Rodriguez then talks about the development of security surveillance at casinos, discrimination towards African American gamblers, and recalls the training she received. Later, Rodriguez discusses her church involvement, teaching at her church's Sunday school, and shares how she managed to raise her children on her own. Lastly, she talks about the role that politics had on minority communities, the importance of education, and changes in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Conrad LeRoy Neagle conducted by Art Platanitis on an unknown date in 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Neagle discusses his experiences since coming to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1889.

Oral history interview with Anne Kellogg conducted by Claytee White on July 25, 2007 for the Voices of the Historic John S. Park Neighborhood Oral History Project. Kellogg discusses her parents setting up their first home in the John S. Park Neighborhood and living in the same neighborhood even though they moved to larger houses. She also discusses being a freelance journalist and owning a stationery store in the Holsum Lofts in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Jeff Ju conducted by Jennifer Sui on November 17, 2021 for the Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. In this interview, Ju recalls moving to the United States with his family at the age of ten. He discusses his relationships with his parents, how it has changed, and experiencing discrimination and racism at work and as an individual. While he lives in New York, Ju visits Las Vegas, Nevada regularly and shares how he finds it more inclusive and welcoming compared to New York or Korea.

Oral history interview with Gregory Crawford conducted by Claytee D. White on August 18, 2021 for African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. Gregory shares his background growing up in Los Angeles, California and the influence that music had on his young life. He talks about his employment history working nearly three decades for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas' University Libraries and his role in acquiring academic materials. Gregory also discusses his "foodie" hobby, favorite eateries, and continued interest in music. Subjects discussed include: Seafood City; Farmer Brothers.

Oral history interview with Paul M. Lytle conducted by James Greene on December 19, 1974 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In the interview, Lytle discusses moving to Boulder City, Nevada in 1936 to work as a Boulder (Hoover) Dam guide. Lytle also discusses his early life moving around Nevada, his family, his experiences with railroad freight cars, Boulder Highway's road conditions and roadside stores, and his service in the United States Army during World War II.
