Oral history interview with Vincent Kethen conducted by Claytee White on December 23, 2009 for the Voices of the Historic John S. Park Neighborhood Oral History Project. Kethen was born in 1964 in Las Vegas, Nevada, the year that desegregation of schools started there. He discusses his experiences as an African-American child being bused to a white school, John S. Park Elementary. He also discusses growing up in that era and giving back to the community by being a youth basketball coach.

Oral history interview with Elizabeth Kelly conducted by Jeff DeLoca on April 02, 1976 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Kelly discusses arriving to Southern Nevada from Scotland in the 1920’s. Kelly also talks about early life in Las Vegas, Nevada and the growth of the city.

In this interview, Griffin discusses his personal history and working at an all-white country club as a golf caddy. He recalls receiving a golf scholarship to Jackson State University, and describes starting a junior golf program at Craig Ranch Park in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Later, Griffin discusses his senior golf tour and the history of black golfing in Las Vegas.
