Oral history interview with Charles West conducted by Perry Kaufman on April 19, 1974 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. West discusses the African American community in Las Vegas, Nevada and what the living conditions were for them. West then explains how the Nevada Voters League changed the way politics played out after more African Americans went out to vote. He also discusses his work as the first African American Doctor in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with J. Harold Tilton conducted by David M. Hollic on February 21, 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Tilton discusses his personal history and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1925. He then describes the development of Las Vegas and recalls the expansion of the city in both the north and west. Lastly, Tilton discusses the construction of homes in undeveloped desert land, as well as environmental and social changes in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Jenkins L. Wright conducted by Cliff Keeuer on October 06, 1973 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Wright discusses Southern Nevada and personal history. Wright also talks about the growth of casinos and gaming throughout Las Vegas.
