Oral history interview with Mark Whitmore conducted by William M. Paradiss on March 03, 1975 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Whitmore discusses growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada since 1948 and recalls his family history. Whitmore then describes the growth of Las Vegas, specifically the expansion toward the west side of the city. Whitmore later discusses social and environmental changes, the increase in pollution, and recreational activities at the time. Lastly, Whitmore recalls his experience as a student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas during the mid-1960s.

Oral history interview with Cathy Jones conducted by Renee Walden on March 12, 1978 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Jones discusses being a dependent at the Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada and what it is like being in the military.

Oral history interview with Elwood Schmidt conducted by Claytee D. White on and November 14, 2018 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Schmidt discusses his upbringing and early interest in medicine. He talks about working for the United States Public Health Service, interviewing Emergency Medical Service (EMS) ambulance drivers, and writing Nevada EMS: A History of Emergency Medical Services in Nevada. Lastly, Schmidt discusses providing medical care to Native American populations.

Oral history interview with Lonnie Wright conducted by Claytee White on October 23, 2009 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Wright describes the casino mentality of racism and sexism that he encountered. Wright also discusses dealing with the odds and his business endeavors. Wright then describes the value of being a team player and using athletics as a marketing strategy.

Oral history interview with Alexander Nicholas conducted by Saleeh Sarwar Khan on February 24, 1980 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Nicholas discusses the increase in population in Las Vegas, Nevada and describes the type of crime that is most common in the city. Nicholas also describes the increase in pollution as more factories were built. Lastly, Nicholas discusses general changes in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with John Gallagher conducted by Patrick W. Carlton on May 31, 2002 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Gallagher discusses his career in higher education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) as an educator and an administrator. Gallagher also describes his membership in the Las Vegas, Nevada chapter of the Rotary Club and that organization's relationship with UNLV. He concludes the interview by drawing distinctions between Las Vegas and cities of the Pacific Northwest.
