Oral history interview with Tom Godbey conducted by James Greene on September 28, 1974 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Godbey discusses how he and his wife were the first couple to build a home in Boulder City, Nevada. Oral history interview with Ricardo Jimenez conducted by Andres Moses on September 18, 2005 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Jimenez discusses his personal history growing up in Los Angeles, California. He recalls visiting Las Vegas, Nevada in 1972 and describes the Las Vegas Strip at the time. Jimenez discusses his move to Las Vegas and living on the East Side during the late 1970s. Lastly, Jimenez recalls his education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, starting his own business, and entering the landscaping industry.

Oral history interview with Dan Bennett conducted by Guy Pence on October 03, 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. During this interview Bennett talks about the visits from presidents and other important people to the Las Vegas, Nevada area and discusses the 1942 plane crash of Carole Lombard’s plane. He also mentions Boulder Dam and describes the economic, social and environmental changes that have taken place in Southern Nevada over the years.

Oral history interview with Edith Leavitt conducted by Enrico Mecina on February 07, 1977 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Leavitt talks about moving to Las Vegas, Nevada from St. George, Utah for a teaching position in August of 1945. She discusses the history of the school district and racial integration of the school system.

In this interview, Schecter discusses his career as a card dealer at various casinos, including Seminole Hollywood, Downstream Casino Resort, Snoqualmie Casino, Reno Hilton, and the Palms in Las Vegas. Schecter also discusses card dealing in cruise ships, including Discovery cruises, the Palm Beach Princess, and the Palm Beach Kennel Club.
