Oral history interview with Rodney Sumpter conducted by Dennis McBride on August 30, 1999 for the Las Vegas Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Archives Oral History Project. In this interview, Sumpter discusses his involvement with repealing one of Nevada’s sodomy laws (NRS 201.190) in 1985. He recalls going to the Nevada State Supreme Court and discusses similar cases involving sodomy laws in the United States.

She then discusses working as a secretary at the University of Colorado-Boulder and becoming the lead administrator for the chemistry department there. She also discusses moving to Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband and getting involved with the local tap dancing community.

Oral history interview with Jackie Appledorn conducted by Patricia van Betten on January 30, 2007 and June 26, 2010 for the History of Blue Diamond Village in Nevada Oral History Project. Appledorn discusses the history of Blue Diamond Village, from it being a stop on the Old Spanish Trail to its expansion to a family town.
