Oral history interview with Amee B. Cauton conducted by Stefani Evans on January 23, 2024 for the Reflections: the Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. In this interview, Cauton reflects on her childhood growing up in Honolulu, Hawai'i, and later relocating with her mother and step-father to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1999. She recalls starting work at The Mirage with her morther, where she worked for a total of 15 years in a variety of hospitality positions. Cauton is now a Negotiating Committee Captain for Culinary Union Local 226, has a total of eighteen years seniority with MGM Resorts. She also talks about her work with the Culinary Union and the 2023 contract campaign and strike vote.

Oral history interview with George Durkin conducted by Claytee D. White on July 26, 2024 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Durkin describes his childhood in Schenectady, New York, where he first became interested in music. After college, Durkin enrolled in a master's program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and worked at Strip locations behind some of the great entertainers in the industry. While at UNLV, he studied with composer, arranger, and musician Don Hannah, and became a life-long friend of his son, Paul Hannah. Durkin explains that while he currently works in real estate, he still plays in shows when possible and is a regular percussionist for the Las Vegas Philharmonic. Over the years, Durkin played for many entertainers in Las Vegas, including Robert Goulet, Dorothy Hamill, Julio Iglesias, Dionne Warwick, Liberace, Joan Rivers, Sammy Davis, George Burns, and many more. Oral history interview with Wendy Starkweather conducted by Claytee D. White on April 9, 2021 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Wendy Starkweather (born 1949) served as the public face of Lied Library 20 years ago when the building was first constructed. She discusses her time at Lied Library with specific references to her most memorable moments and her favorite aspects of the library's architecture. Wendy also talks about her retirement from UNLV in 2010 and how she has kept busy in recent years by traveling, reading, and participating in the political arena. Subjects discussed include: Lied Library, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, and Book Clubs.

Oral history interview with Juliana Chen conducted by Cecilia Winchell and Stefani Evans on March 21, 2021 for Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project.

In this interview, Juliana Chen shares her upbringing in Hunan, China and her experiences as a teenager training to become a professional ballet dancer. She discusses her rigorous training and troupe career that ended when Chen sustained a knee injury. With a desire to try something new while still being able to perform, Chen immigrated to Vancouver, Canada and began practicing magic. Chen shares that although she didn't know anyone or speak English, she practiced her craft and broadened her knowledge by joining professional organizations including the International Brotherhood of Magicians. After winning several magic competitions, Chen performed on the Las Vegas Strip at Caesar's Palace and the Riviera Hotel and Casino. She shares her current professional pursuits, her connection to the Las Vegas magician community, and her thoughts on Chinese culture and cuisine.

Oral history interview with Gene Collins conducted by Claytee D. White on July 16, 2009 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Collins discusses the job market in Las Vegas, Nevada and delineates his work experience and career as culinary employee, operation engineer, and finally as electrician at the Nevada Test Site. He then talks about becoming a Nevada State Assemblyman and helping to bring diversification, jobs, and businesses to the black community. Collins details the accomplishments of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) during those years and discusses the means by which they were met, including marches and protests.

Oral history interview with Patricia Becker conducted by Claytee D. White on April 15, 2014 for the West Charleston Neighborhoods: An Oral History Project of Ward 5. In this interview Patricia Becker discusses her extensive law career serving as deputy attorney general and as the first woman selected to serve on Nevada's Gaming Control Board. She then discusses moving on to become general counsel for Hararh's Entertainment International and to becoming the senior Vice President of corporate affairs and legal adviser for Aladdin Gaming. She finally discusses the opening of her law firm, Patricia Becker and Associates, and her work with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Donna Robinson conducted by Barbara Tabach on December 20, 2019 for the Remembering 1 October Oral History Project. Robinson begins by talking about her family and childhood in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She talks about her family life and how she started working at the American Red Cross as a Disaster Program Specialist. Robinson describes her first disaster situation she worked through, later disaster situations, and the different training that is required in order to handle certain situations. Robinson then begins to talk about October 1, 2017, and how she tried to help as many people as possible that night. Then she talks about the long-term effects of the shooting and how it impacted the survivors and the community. She discusses the mental health aspect of the services Red Cross had and how it still continues to serve the community today.
