In the interview, Lamb discusses his early life living in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and various United States presidents who visited Las Vegas. Lamb also discusses his involvement in politics as a Clark County Commissioner, Las Vegas economics, and the growth and change of the hotel and casino industry over time.

Oral history interview with Don Payne conducted by Mara E. Vernon on March 19, 1997 for the UNLV University Libraries Oral History Collection. In this interview, Payne discusses his career with the Las Vegas News Bureau. He talks about his role as Head of the Bureau and his work in promoting Las Vegas through media outlets. Payne remembers the Bureau’s partnership with the Union Pacific Railroad and the beginning of corporate ownership in Las Vegas hotels and casinos.

Oral history interview with J. Harold Tilton conducted by David M. Hollic on February 21, 1972 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Tilton discusses his personal history and moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1925. He then describes the development of Las Vegas and recalls the expansion of the city in both the north and west. Lastly, Tilton discusses the construction of homes in undeveloped desert land, as well as environmental and social changes in Las Vegas.

Oral history interview with Mary Nabit conducted by Gregory Nicholl on March 15, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. In this interview, Nabit discusses her experiences working as a cocktail server since the 1950s as well as her experiences working at Stardust Resort and Casino since the 1970s in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oral history interview with Richard Hooker conducted by Claytee D. White on June 10, 2014 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview, Hooker discusses his work as an artist and cultural practitioner for the City of Las Vegas Office of Cultural Affairs. He recalls his background in political science and his employment with the Nevada Arts Council. Hooker then describes the projects he was involved with, including preserving neon signs and the formation of the Neon Museum.
