Abstract
The Advanced Technologies Academy "Civic Voices" Oral History Project (2011-2012) consists of 33 oral histories of Las Vegas, Nevada residents conducted by students of Joyce O'Day's 2011 and 2012 AP World History classes at Advanced Technologies Academy. Each interview contains a physical transcript, assignment sheets, and digital video and photographs. The 2011 interviews also have digital transcripts.

During this event, multiple unidentified individuals narrate the history of Blue Diamond Village in a public event hosted by the Blue Diamond History Committee. Other individuals also share personal stories of their experiences in Blue Diamond Village.

Oral history interview with Vadeem Volansky, Anastasia Popovich, and Amdrei Skoro conducted by Jan Biggerstaff in approximately 2008 for the Let;s Runaway and Join the Circus Oral History Project. In this interview, Volansky reflects upon his upbringing in Ukraine, his entrance into circus college, and his competitions before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada to perform in shows such as Mystere. Popovich discusses her upbringing in Las Vegas, Nevada, while her father worked in a show at the Circus Circus. She reflects upon having the show animals at home, how she trained for the circus, and eventually worked in the theater at the Aladdin, later Planet Hollywood. Skoro discusses his upbringing in Chelyabinsk, Russia, military operations before the city name was changed to Ozersk, and his entrance into circus school. Description
Oral history interview with William O'Neill McCurdy by Claytee D. White on January 26, 2022 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: A Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, McCurdy describes his childhood growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada, graduating from Valley High School, and attending Western Nevada College in Carson City, Nevada. He worked for many years for the Parks and Recreation department, and has served on numerous boards including the Citizens' Advisory for Regional Transportation (RTC), Habitat for Humanity Board of Director, Mineral County Economic Advisory Committee, City of Las Vegas Community Block Grant Advisory Board, and Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority Commission. Currently, McCurdy owns McCurdy & McCurdy Media Group, a political consulting and advertising firm which has assisted numerous political candidates in fulfilling their dreams of helping to govern Las Vegas, Clark County, the State of Nevada, and even in the United States Congress.

Oral history interview with Midbar Kodesh Temple members conducted by Bradley Tecktiel on April 19, 2015 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. Two groups of early members of Midbar Kodesh Temple in Henderson, Nevada discuss the founding of the congregation and how it serves the Jewish community. They also discuss other aspects of being Jewish in Southern Nevada.
