Oral history interview with Lillie and Johnny Smith conducted by Claytee D. White on October 19, 2023 for the African Americans in Las Vegas: a Collaborative Oral History Project. In this interview, the couple recalls meeting in Tallulah, Louisiana and marrying in 1973. In 1986, they relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. Both Lillie and Johnny went to Job Corp and received training that they insist changed their lives and the trajectory of their family. Johhny learned how to drive and operate heavy machinery, and his job at Republic Services utilizes those skills. Lillie became a social worker after obtaining a master's degree.

Miranda discusses teaching Chicano studies from the beginning of the ethnic studies program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and being the chair of the Anthropology and Ethnic Studies Department.

Oral history interview with Valerie Wiener conducted by Barbara Tabach on January 20, 2015 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. In this interview, Wiener discusses her childhood and being raised in Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1950s as well as the academic path that led her career into politics. Throughout Wiener’s interview, she highlights the traditions of the small, but growing Las Vegas Jewish population in the 1960s. Wiener also discusses her community service work and her life mantra of giving.

Shoong Lee discusses her father, Joe Shoong, who started the company National Dollar Store. Mauricia Baca discusses her early life, her education, and her experiences living in New York City, New York before she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. She also relates her experiences on and after the 1 October mass shooting. Baca relates information on her agency, Get Outdoors Nevada. Baca shares how her agency worked with the City of Las Vegas in the construction and operation of the Healing Garden. Finally, she discusses the book she helped author regarding 1 October.

Oral history interview with Suzanne Dalitz conducted by David Schwartz on December 17, 2014 for the Southern Nevada Jewish Heritage Project. In this interview, Suzanne Dalitz discusses growing up with her father, Morris Dalitz, and how she maintained their relationship by visiting him in Las Vegas, Nevada after her parents separated. Dalitz mentions that her father kept his family completely separate from his life in organized crime. She discusses her establishment of the Angelica Foundation as well as her involvement with the Mob Museum to curate a story of Morris Dalitz and his history with Las Vegas. Dalitz finishes the interview with a discussion of her relationship with her father and her general experience living in Las Vegas.

Rosenberry discusses her husband, Chuck, who worked as a nuclear technologist at the Nevada Test Site, and her work for a group of cardiovascular doctors. Rosenberry also talks about racism in Las Vegas, Nevada and in the southern states of the United States.
