Oral history interview with Jerri Mausbach conducted by Jim Cox on October 02, 2007 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Mausbach reflects upon his experience as a teacher and administrator with Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD). He describes the process by which he became a teacher and eventually administrator, his experiences working with special education, and elements of his training that he believes were most useful for his career. Oral history interview with Sachiko Young conducted by Mikaela Nettlow on December 5, 2021 for Reflections: The Las Vegas Asian American and Pacific Islander Oral History Project. Sachiko shares her upbringing in Fukoka, Japan and how she and her family moved frequently as a child. She talks about meeting her husband, an American military man, while visiting family in Tokyo. Sachiko discusses their marriage and birth of their child, their move to San Jose, California, and their travels back and forth from Japan before settling in Las Vegas, Nevada. She shares stories of visiting casinos with friends, working in hotel coffee shops, and what life was like for her and her family. Sachiko also talks of how she and her husband both faced racial prejudice from their families and the difficulties of learning English as a second language.

Oral history interviews with Erma O. Godbey conducted by Dennis McBride on November 07, 1986 and November 08, 1986 for the Boulder City Library Oral History Project. In these interviews, Godbey discusses her move from Oatman, Arizona to Needles, Nevada in 1931. She remembers the economic depression at the time, life in the desert before air conditioning or refrigerators, and her husband’s employment as a road paver. Godbey talks about living in the tent-city Ragtown (Williamsville) and moving to Boulder City, Nevada. Godbey describes early housing, the first school in Boulder City, and the money printed by Six Companies to use at their stores. Lastly, Godbey discusses the Boulder City 31ers and preserving the history of Boulder City.

Oral history interview with Bruce Anderson conducted by Claytee D. White on October 03, 2007 for the All That Jazz Oral History Project. In this interview, Anderson discusses his career as a jazz musician. He begins by talking about his upbringing in Evansville, Indiana, his early interest in being a musician, his family's involvement with music through their church, learning to play the piano and the clarinet from an early age, completing high school and later enlisting in the United States Air Force, where he was able to grow and extend his skills as an ensemble musician. He describes leaving the armed forces and returning to Indiana, moving soon after he received a job offer in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1973. He continues, talking about the wide range of venues he played, from conventions to high-end nightclubs, and closes by discussing the many different musicians and influences he met throughout his life.

Oral history interview with Jane A. Bigelow conducted by Rebecca Shurley on November 05, 1985 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Bigelow discusses her experiences, mainly as a flight nurse and its unique challenges as well as her experiences in the intensive care unit during the Vietnam War. She provides details on her career progression from staff nurse to her then current position of chief nurse of the United States Air Force Hospital at Nellis Air Force Base. Bigelow also describes some of the educational requirements for becoming a nurse, as well as the demands of the nursing profession.

Oral history interview with Samuel E. Wright conducted by Claytee D. White on October 08, 2010 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. Wright discusses Stokely Carmichael, the black power philosophy, and his remorse in the Washington riots. Wright also discusses job opportunities in Las Vegas, Nevada and the lack of commissioner support to build a public mass transit system. Wright then shares stories about the Westside neighborhood and other black neighborhoods of the 1980s. He talks about the closing of F Street and resulting protests in 2008 and 2009, and the creation of Symphony Park.
