Oral history interview with Murl Emery conducted by James M. Greene on October 18, 1974 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Emery discusses living in Southern Nevada, particularly in the areas from Searchlight, Nevada to Nelson, Nevada. He also discusses the building of the railroad, mining in Nevada, and the books that were written about his discoveries and explorations during his life.

Oral history interview with Viki Richardson conducted by Chuck Williams on July 3, 2013 for the Friends of Red Rock Canyon in Nevada Oral History Project. Richardson begins the interview by talking about her family life and childhood in Oliver Ranch. She describes what her family did at the ranch as caretakers and tells stories when she lived in Blue Diamond Village, Nevada. Lastly, she describes what the town of Blue Diamond was like, and the history and layout of the Oliver Ranch property.

Oral history interview with Dr. Frank Roqueni conducted by Alia Rothstein on June 20, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Dr. Roqueni reflects upon his experience as a principal in Nevada’s Clark County School District (CCSD). He describes the process by which he became a principal, his regular responsibilities, and challenges that he faced. He discusses the high expectations that principals face, and suggests that individuals not enter the principalship because of those expectations. He also provides his opinion on issues such as standardized testing and school safety.

Oral history interview with Clarence Lawrence conducted by Rhonda Davis on April 11, 2006 for the Public School Principalship Oral History Project. In this interview, Lawrence reflects upon his career as a teacher and administrator in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He discusses his approach to school administration, and his working relationship with teachers and other administrators. He describes his regular responsibilities and challenges as principal, and discusses how different experiences shaped his approach to administration. He also offers suggestions for individuals interested in pursuing school administration, and describes what he believes makes an effective school administrator.

Oral history interview with Norman Forsyth conducted by Steve Flinte on March 19, 1981 for the Ralph Roske Oral History Project on Early Las Vegas. Forsythe discusses arriving to Las Vegas, Nevada and his time as a firefighter with the Las Vegas Fire Department and the Clark County Fire Department, where he eventually became a battalion chief. Forsythe also talks about the history and development of Las Vegas, the prices of land, some notable fires, including the El Rancho Vegas fire, and what he recalls about the aboveground atomic testing.

Oral history interview with Jerry Eppenger conducted by Claytee D. White on September 09, 2011 for the Boyer Early Las Vegas Oral History Project. In this interview Jerry Eppenger discusses working as a security guard at the Bonanza Hotel and the Nevada Test Site. He then talks about attending dealer school and starting a career in dealing. He then discusses segregation and racial relations in Las Vegas, Nevada in the 1970s.
