The Bill Beam Papers document the career of miner and poetry enthusiast Bill (William) Beam from 1955 to 2004. The papers contain mining materials, photographs, and poetry from mines Beam worked in around the Southwestern United States. Also included are two albums of photographs from the Nevada Test Site.

The Dennis Lee Askew papers date from 1966 to 2013 and contain "Rock Talk" columns from the Las Vegas Sun newspaper, posters, photographs, correspondence, audio cassette tapes, one DVD of the "Rock Talk" television special, and newspaper clippings.

The UNLV Libraries Collection of Luxor Hotel and Casino Promotional Materials and Reports includes press kits, press releases, promotional materials, publicity materials, and newspaper and magazine clippings for the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, dating from 1991 to 2006.

The UNLV Libraries Collection of Hollywood Park Inc. Financial Reports and Press Materials contains annual reports, financial reports, and press materials from Hollywood Park Incorporated, a gaming and sports entertainment company in Inglewood, California, dating from 1992 to 1999.

The Eddie Anderson Papers date from 1965 to 2000. The collection contains material from Eddie Anderson’s work as a political and social activist, as well as his radio career in Reno, Nevada. Included are newspaper articles, research notes, correspondence, speeches on political activism and gay rights, video recordings, audio recordings, memorabilia, black-and-white photographs, and color photographs. There is a photograph of Eddie Anderson with President Richard Nixon from 1969.

The Marshall L. Wright Photograph Collection consists of black-and-white photographic prints and negatives from approximately 1950 to 1960. Wright was an executive at the Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, and the photographs depict him with friends and business associates, and at events promoting the hotel. Also included are photographs of the Riviera Hotel and Las Vegas Strip.

The Alice Lake-Rockwell and Earl Rockwell Photographs depict the Las Vegas, Nevada area from approximately 1880 to 1962. The photographs primarily depict the Lake-Rockwell Family in Las Vegas, including Earl Rockwell with a local baseball team, the Las Vegas Volunteer Fire Department, and the Las Vegas Police. Other photographs include the Hoover (Boulder) Dam construction site and views of the completed dam. The photographs also portray family members from the Rockwell Family.
